Connect iPhone/iPad to Office 365

Use the following guide to connect your iPhone or iPad to your Office 365 account. This guide assumes iOS v7.0 or above but will be similar for older versions.

Adding email account to iPhone/iPad

  1. Open SETTINGS

  2. Click on MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDARS

  3. Click on EXCHANGE - a new window will open up

  4. The new window will ask for the following settings. Enter as indicated:
    Email: [Your full email address]
    Password: [Your email password]
    Description: [Enter a description to easily identify this email account]

  5. Click NEXT

  6. A new screen will appear asking for additional information. Enter as indicated:
    Email: [Your full email address]
    Server: outlook.office365.com
    Domain: [Leave blank]
    Username: [Your full email address]
    Password: [Your email password]

  7. Click NEXT

  8. The system may take a minute or two depending on your internet connection to verify your details. If you get a message saying it was unable to verify your details go back and re-check all your settings and re-enter your password remembering passwords are case sensitive.

  9. After your account is verified you will then be shown a screen giving you the ability to toggle on/off various services including: mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, notes - adjust as needed.

  10. Click SAVE

  11. Close Settings

Your email account should now be connected depending on what services you enabled in step 9. Note it can take up to 30 mins or more for your account to sync depending on your internet connection speed.
