Newcastle Rescue & Consultancy Pty Ltd were seeking a solution that would allow them to secure their intellectual property, eliminate their limitations surrounding email storage, and address the requirement to work in extreme environments such as PNG, Laos and Indonesia, as it is critical for them to be able to work from anywhere in the world. Their existing systems infrastructure was ultimately costing them business because they found it difficult to communicate with current and prospective clients. To combat these issues Myrtec proposed the introduction of Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and SharePoint through Microsoft 365.
Intellectual property theft, not receiving inbound enquiries and accessing data remotely is no longer a cause for concern at Newcastle Rescue. Following the configuration of data, Myrtec provided all management and staff with a professional workshop training session that allowed employees to ask any questions and understand how to use their new, centralised interface that was designed to be user-friendly. They now have complete visibility across all their devices, data, and security.
Newcastle Rescue & Consultancy were finding it difficult to secure information within their business. Their on-site server lacked the ability to effectively secure their intellectual property by not having the capability to limit their employees access down to only the information they need to see. It also constrained them by having to be in the office to access this information. Limitations on their mailbox capacity proved to be problematic as they were having to delete emails to create storage space, just so they could receive new business enquiries and orders.
Myrtec deployed Azure Active Directory with Newcastle Rescue & Consultancy so that we could assign separate access permissions for each Manager and user, allowing their data and devices to be tightly secured. Myrtec moved their emails to Microsoft Exchange Online to remove capacity limits on their mailboxes, enabling them to receive and respond to all enquiries without deleting any emails. Lastly, Myrtec completed a SharePoint migration so that only staff with assigned permission has remote access to the information and data they need to complete their job function.
