Myrtec joins the Google Chromebox for Meetings reseller program

By Tristan Hough

Myrtec Pty Ltd today announced it has become an authorized reseller of the Google Chromebox for Meetings including the Chromebook Management Console

Chromebooks are the perfect computer for the way that people work and live today - we use different devices in a range of places, are always on the go, and need apps to help us stay productive and have fun. Chromebooks can access tens of thousands of web apps in the Chrome Web Store and work well offline, allowing you to be completely productive on email, create and edit documents, read the news, edit photos or videos, or play games.

Chromebox for meetings is a purpose built device that uses Google+ Hangouts and includes all the hardware, software and services you need at an affordable price - just bring your own display. Chromebox for meetings includes an Intel Core i7 Chromebox, high-definition camera, combined microphone and speaker unit, remote control and management service & support from Google. Chromebox for meetings starts at $999, including the first year license fee.

Chromebox for meetings is built for medium-sized conference rooms, and supports meetings with up to 15 participants or locations. Chromebox for Meetings is great for all businesses. If you use Google Apps, you get the added integrations with Google Calendar, chat and collaborating on documents.

Chromebox for meetings will make video meetings more accessible to our clients. We expect great demand for this product in the market based on the real opportunity to upgrade conference rooms and the significant reduction in travel costs achieved by implementing video conferencing
